Hello there friends! Over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, I had the extreme pleasure of working with Clarissa and Gabe to capture their maternity portraits. This is their first baby and the joy just completely radiated off of them! They came in about a week prior to their session to choose what gowns Clarissa wanted to wear for their session and they ended up choosing a beautiful array of gowns that perfectly complimented Clarissa's skin tone, the feel that they were wanting for their imagery, AND the beautiful location that we chose. And we were SO lucky that the weather decided to cooperate for us also...it was a nice mild 75 with a slight breeze- so everything was absolutely perfect for this session. Including that beautiful golden light. And to top off the perfect session- this adorable couple was also celebrating their 5 year anniversary! The whole thing was just so completely magical! One thing I absolutely loved is that Clarissa and Gabe surprised me when they brought a prop to use- Gabe's guitar. It's so fun when my clients bring personal items to really customize their session and the story behind those items always leave me smiling like a fool. Our calendar is filling up fast before we go on maternity leave but the books are open for October through the end of 2020 for maternity, newborn, and milestone sessions (we're also booking a VERY small handful of fall family pictures). We have a ton of great fall and winter pieces coming in for our client closet and the newborn studio that I for one can't wait to use!
